We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Associate DevOps Engineer to join our team at Energy Exemplar. The successful candidate will play a key role in building and maintaining the DevOps infrastructure, collaborating with development teams to ensure smooth deployment, and optimizing cloud services. You will work with modern tools and technologies, contributing to automation and scalability improvements.
Candidate Requirements & Qualifications
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or relevant fields.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, including Azure and AWS.
- Familiar with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.
- Experience in scripting and automation using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to learning and applying new technologies.
Qualifications:
- Certifications in Azure, AWS, or Kubernetes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with development teams.
- Familiarity with security best practices in a cloud environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Key Accountabilities & Duties
- Build, maintain, and monitor cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS platforms.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.
- Automate routine tasks and optimize infrastructure for scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments.
- Ensure high availability and performance of services through monitoring and incident response.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and DevOps best practices to continuously improve the development lifecycle.
