Job Description

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, and nurturing relationships with existing clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of accomplishment of success in sales management, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the facility management industry.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company's sales strategy in alignment with the overall business goals. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Lead, motivate, and coach a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including operations and marketing, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for growth.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and presentations to clients.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, market trends, and best practices to inform sales strategies and tactics.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our services and generate leads.

Prior Experience/Expertise Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facility Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven sales experience in facility management or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.

Expertise:

  • Strong understanding of facility management practices, regulations, and industry trends. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In depth knowledge of geography assigned & prospect business opportunities.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business environments and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of accomplishment of sales targets & KPIs.
  • Should be a IC player along with team spirit
