Description:

The candidate should have extensive production experience (3-5 Years ) in GCP, Other cloud experience would be a strong bonus.
Exposure to enterprise application development is a must

4-8 years of experience range is preferred.


Must have :

Ability to drive the deployment of the customers’ workloads into GCP and provide guidance, cloud adoption model, service integrations, appropriate recommendations to overcome blockers and technical road-maps for GCP cloud implementations.
Strong understanding of both AWS and GCP.
Experience in architecting and designing technical solutions based on industry standards using GCP Services
Familiarity with various migration strategies, such as rehosting, replatforming, and refactoring.Experience with cloud migration tools
Containerization Expertise in Docker, Dockerfiles, image building, and container management are key for packaging and deploying microservices.
Java & Microservices: Proficiency in Java: Experience developing and debugging Java applications, including Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA or other relevant frameworks.
Database : Good understanding MySQL/Oracle, PostGresSQL, NoSQL
Solid understanding of Kubernetes(GKE/EKS): Knowledge of deployments, services, ingress, networking, and troubleshooting issues within Kubernetes clusters is vital.
Exposure to Helm charts:Good hands-on Helm deployment and configuration management across environments.
Microservices architecture understanding: Deep knowledge of microservices principles,
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with tools like Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
Good Understanding of GCP core services like Google cloud storage, Google compute engine, Cloud SQL, Cloud IAM.
Should have :

Understanding cloud security best practices and implementing secure configurations in both AWS and GCP is important.
Good understanding on Spot ocean and GCP Thanos
Experience with specific tools like JFrog Artifactory for artifact management or Istio for service mesh can be valuable.
Understanding of cloud monitoring and logging solutions like CloudWatch and Stackdriver
Infrastructure Services, networking, security, and best practices. Grafana/ prometheus
Scripting languages: Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation tasks is beneficial.
Experience with building and automating CICD pipelines for building, testing, and deploying microservices on both platforms is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ability to drive the deployment of the customers’ workloads into GCP and provide guidance, cloud adoption model, service integrations, appropriate recommendations to overcome blockers and technical road-maps for GCP cloud implementations.
  • Coach and mentor engineers to raise the technical ability of the rest of the team, and/or to become certified in required GCP technical certifications
  • Customer/Client interactions and close monitoring to drive the project goals
  • Ownership of the Multi-cloud adoption tasks w.r.t Miscroservices
